Your privacy is important to us. It is Motera’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, and other sites we own and operate.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we're collecting it and how it will be used.
- Location Data: We collect your background location data to track your running routes, calculate distance and pace, and enable features like territory conquest and leaderboards. This data is essential for the core functionality of the app.
- User Content: We collect user-generated content, such as your profile photo, to personalize your experience and display your identity on leaderboards and social features.
2. Data Retention
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. Any data we store is protected within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
3. Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. You can do this at any time by navigating to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account within the app, or by contacting our support team via email. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account and all personal data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Motera:
- RevenueCat: For processing subscriptions and payments.
- Google & Apple: For secure authentication (Sign in with Google/Apple).
These third parties may access necessary data to perform their services but are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.
